When I get busy, I’m a bear to live with. All I can see is the mountains of things that I need to accomplish, instead of the beauty that may be right in front of me. I don’t notice good things; I only notice things that annoy me.
Don’t forget about leadership…make sure that the company that you represent has not only great corporate leadership (ie. scott levy fuelonline, President, etc.) but they should also have great field leadership, distributors just like you that know what it takes to be successful and (this ones a biggie) they are reachable. You don’t want to get into a company where all the top distributors have retired and never help you.
What is your personal mission statement in life? As Stephen Covey wrote in his popular book “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People”, the second habit he talks about is “Begin with the End In Mind”. He recommends formulating a “personal vision statement” to document one’s perception of one’s own vision in life. What do you want to accomplish in your life? One effective way to write your personal mission statement is to visualize the day when you die. What do you want your loved ones and friends to say and remember about you? Another approach is to write your own obituary. Without a clear personal mission statement, you will quickly lose focus and direction in your business.
The paper should deal directly with the issues. It is, with research and analysis, the “answer” submitted by the group. The entire planning team will read the paper prior to the subsequent session and then debate it during the session. Problem solving ensues. Everyone is invited to bring their feedback, questions and concerns to the next session. This is where the critical issues are dealt with and a direction is hammered out.
Keep a written record on each employee. It doesn’t have to be fancy, just a folder where you can jot down notes when Sally does something exceptional or when you have to discuss Bob’s tardiness. Keep copies of any “attaboys” your staff gets, too. It’s easy to forget things that happened eleven months ago and then end up basing the evaluation on the work of the past month.
In my personal opinion, it’s realistically possible for someone to sell around 50 electronic books per month once they have the knowledge they need. If the publication is priced at around $17, that’s gross sales of $850 per month. What’s really exciting is that you can actually sell a lot more than just 50. This isn’t like running a traditional business where you need to keep “store hours” or otherwise be present to personally process an order when someone decides to make a purchase. All that stuff is handled by the systems I’m going to show you how to setup and have working for you. That means you can be out playing golf, enjoying time with friends and family, or doing just about anything else. It’s a highly automated business.
This could include information about getting out of debt in case you are in need of this kind of information. They could also give you information about people who would be in a position to assist you in this place. This could include debt consolidation firms. These are people who would assist you to get out of debt that you would be in.
